Tune Time - Do You Know Where You're Going To
Songs have the power to take us back in time, and this one takes me all the way back to 1975. Written by Michael Masser and Gerald Goffin, and recorded by American singer Diana Ross, it is the theme to the 1975 Motown/Paramount film 'Mahogany'. When it was later released as a single, this popular tune became a number-one hit on both the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, and the Easy Listening charts.

DeleteI couldn't even begin to count the number of times I heard this song throughout the late 70's - it was such a monster hit.

DeleteOh, that brings back memories! I used to love Diana and thought she was so beautiful and a fab singer...must go and dig out my old Diana CDs now.

Remember the song. But I never know where I am going to. Maybe if I did, I'd be a big shot cause I'd be so "focused"!!! But I prefer it this way.

1975, eh? Doesn't seem that long ago.
It seems like only yesterday I was listening to this song as a young girl. It's amazing how fast time goes. I used to wonder where I was headed, now I just take it one day at a time. It's a lot more fun this way!
