And who understands that better than Matt Harding, a former games designer from Connecticut who is known as ‘Dancing Matt’ for his viral videos that show him dancing in front of landmarks and street scenes in various locations around the world --- any country he can reach.
His video series, known as 'Where the Hell is Matt?' has been viewed by millions across the world, and in his latest video, he’s seen dancing up a storm even in troubled Syria and the notoriously private nation of North Korea.
Take a Look:
Don't you just love this? We should dance more often!
I do most of my dancing in my own kitchen - it would be too cruel to inflict it on innocent bystanders!
ReplyDeleteHahaha...Sulky, you silly kitty. I don't really care anymore, I just get up and dance!
Deleteman that's a lot of countries and places
ReplyDeleteI know! I wish I could visit so many areas.
DeleteThat was so wonderful Martha! I think I'm going to have to share that on fb! Made my morning!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed, Francie! This video really puts a smile on your face.
DeleteI love Dancing Matt and this latest video is so fun! Thanks for posting it, I hadn't seen it before!
ReplyDeleteI think this is his best one yet. The music, the dancing...it's all good!
DeleteThis was great! The perfect 'wake me up' for this dark winter's morning. I suspect you're right - we probably would have fewer problems around the world if we danced more!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to be in a bad mood when you're dancing up a storm!
DeleteMartha! You are our type of gal! We love to dance too and I know we'd keep you on the dance floor (of course with your hubby's approval) till they kicked us out! lol
ReplyDeleteMatt has the right idea!
You bet, Jim! I really enjoy dancing, especially together with friends. Matt really does have the right idea. And look at what a great time he's having!
DeleteI love this. Can't help but put a smile on your face. Thanks for posting it.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome! And also, welcome to my blog!
DeleteIt is illegal for me to dance in the United States. That have laws that protect people from cruel and unusual punishment. I can't imagine visiting all the countries. What a great life to have.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha...you sound like my hubby. He never gets up to dance unless it's a romantic, slow song.
DeleteYup, this guy has a great life. Just travel around the world and dance with people.
Aww...watching that made me smile from ear to ear! Thanks, Martha!
ReplyDeleteAs for me, I'm afraid I'm a hopeless klutz, but I do dance when no one else is around.
Glad you enjoyed, Beth! This is certainly a video to watch when you're looking for something to brighten up the day.
DeleteWhat a great way to have fun with people all around the world. I loved this! Thanks, Martha!
ReplyDeleteYes, it's certainly a great way to have fun with people. And no matter where you go, you will always find individuals that want to get up and dance.
DeleteBravo Matt! great post
ReplyDeleteOh yes, bravo to Matt!
DeleteHow very very wonderful -- I love to see how people across borders and cultures share such fundamental joys. This has been well-timed for me, because I was so troubled thinking of what I'd watched in this documentary yesterday about Liberia's warlords. This is beautifully uplifting -- thank you!!
ReplyDeleteThis video is a wonderful example of how similar we are to each other. Deep down inside we all want to be happy, to get along, to dance!
DeleteI'm glad you found something positive after something negative.
I love Matt!
ReplyDeleteAnd dancing is pretty fun too. I have no rhythm whilst sober..get a few drinks in me though....woo!..I can cut a rug:P
Hahahaha...you always make me smile! A few drinks can work wonders for most of us!
DeleteIt's so funny, you posted this right on the day when I had my first dance practise of the year! And what a fun day that was - we messed up so badly during one of the more formal dances, and it just made us laugh SO much! Love my dance group!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a lot of fun. Dancing brings out so much joy in people!
