Photo Dump

“All the technique in the world doesn’t compensate for the inability to notice.”
- Elliott Erwitt -

If you slow down and look around, you’ll realize what a spectacular world this is. There is beauty to be found everywhere. So much to see. So much to enjoy. So much to be thankful for. And so much to photograph!

Here is this week’s round of photos...

♪♫ Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do ♫♪

There is something very disturbing about windows that have been closed off.

Our cat, Nacho; also known as 'The Cheese'

One of the lighthouses (U.S side) we encountered on our trip around Lake Ontario in August.

Neither rain nor snow nor sleet nor hail shall keep the postmen ducks from water.

The top of a skyscraper (one of many) in Montreal.

Bottoms up!

Jack Frost has been very busy this winter.

Have a lovely Tuesday, everyone!

  2. I agree with you, there really is. And look at that little dude in the last photo. Is that a Christmas ball?

    1. Yes, that's a Christmas ball. We gave him one to play with. His name is Spaz, and he's my daughter's ferret.

    2. I didn't realize Spaz was a ferret. I thought he was a chubby bubby mouse.

    3. And that would have been a very chubby mouse!

    1. Thanks, Louise. Those birds were so high up that there wasn't really much chance of another good perspective. This one seemed like the most interesting.

  10. ditto the closed windows .... I don't understand why abandoned structures can linger. houses or businesses ... ought to be a law! they can be used for crack houses ... very dangerous. Whenever I would drive into a neighborhood with boarded up windows? I skedaddled! pronto

    love Nacho!
