What better way to end the month than with pictures of pretty flowers?

- Lilium 'Navona' -

- Asclepias tuberosa -

- Astilbe japonica ‘Montgomery’ -

- Rudbeckia hirta ‘Marmalade’ -

- Gaillardia Burgundy -

- Gaillardia Dwarf Goblin -

- Morden Sunrise -

- Astilbe 'Hennie Graafland' -

- Penstemon digitalis ‘Husker Red’ -

- Agastache ‘Blue Fortune’ -

- Hosta ‘Frances Williams’ -

And finally, there’s always the center of my backyard where there is always an abundance of blooms:

  1. White is still beautiful as a flower, even though white is never considered as colourful. ~bangchik

  4. Oh, your garden is filling out so quickly, Martha! It's beautiful---I know it must be very satisfying to see it becoming so lush. I especially love that agastache. I had Blue Fortune years ago when I lived in the flatlands. It bloomed for a very long time and the hummingbirds and butterflies and bees were crazy about it. It did have a tendency to take over my garden though. All the more to share with my fellow gardeners, I guess!:-)

It is hard to believe how much your garden areas are filling in .. and that my hyssop is doing so well after dividing it like that ! I am totally surprised it has done so well : )

Tatiana, my garden has come a long way since we moved year. I expect it will keep evolving as the years go by. And that I'll enjoy every minute of it!

Inadvertent farmer, it's nice to see you up here in my northern world. We've had quite a bit of rain in the past little while, but the plants seem to have loved it. They've grown like weeds!

Beth, I'm so thrilled that the garden is finally filling up with so many pretty plants. It's been such an exciting gardening season so far. My agastache is growing into a monster; I've already had to trim it back a bit because it's growing over other plants!

Joy, my dear, I love that white lily. I can't believe how amazing the flowers on it are. The garden is filling up like mad; the plants have grown into monsters in the past couple of weeks. Must be all that rain we got. I'm glad the weather is going to be gorgeous in the upcoming days. I'll be out there gardening till I drop!
