White Swan Blooms

Echinacea purpurea ‘White Swan’ is one of the most amazing performers in the garden. I have two of these fabulous coneflowers under my kitchen window, and both of them are overloaded with blooms.

I adore coneflowers, not only because of their gorgeous flowers, which would be reason enough, but also because they are easy to grow and they withstand the heat better than many of the other plants in the garden. I just can’t get enough of them.

  1. I have a white swan echinacea and for a few years it bloomed white, then about 2 years ago it started to bloom purple ... that sure was a mystery. I'm waiting for it to bloom this year to see the colour.

  2. Really, Crafty Gardener? That's really odd. I wonder if the same thing will happen with mine.
