Ferrety Friday

We’re having another warm day here in Kingston, Ontario. And the heat has brought to mind an extremely important factor about ferrets, which I’m going to remind you all about:

Ferrets do not handle heat well, at all, and can die from heatstroke within minutes if precautions are not taken. Please bear this in mind when temperatures rise above 27°C (80°F), and make sure to keep your pet from overheating.

That’s right, Bailey; everyone must remember to keep it cool for fuzzies.

  1. Well, that would be a crummy way to die, now wouldn't it? Good for you keeping the little guys safe, Martha!

  2. Their lives depend on us, so we have to take good care of them.
