A Single Photograph

My garden perennials are heading towards their snooze period, but even so, some of them are still trying to add colour to my garden.

Take for example this little flower:

It never reached its full potential, but it’s one of the prettiest things I’ve seen in my garden so far. Just the fact that it made it this far this time of year makes it very special.

  1. Hey girl I am working backwards again .. especially on a Monday ?? eekkk !
Is that a "Blanket flower" .. can't think of the proper name at the moment .. i had Amber Wheels which was lovely but not enough sun where I put it .. "Oranges & Lemons" was one I wanted out of the group but haven't gotten there yet.
If it isn't that type .. let me know what it is .. Gaillardia ! probably spelt wrong but it just came to me .. DUH

  2. Yup, it's a Gaillardia, alright, Gaillardia 'Dazzler' to be exact. Very pretty plant; it blooms like crazy week after week. I love it!
