Words Of Wisdom

I know people like this...

  1. Ha, ha...great quote, Martha.

Sorry not to comment for a while---I've had someone or the other visiting for almost two weeks now. I see you've changed names. I like the new name---it suits you.

By the way, I'm sorry to hear about Mr. Inski. I know that must have broken your heart. I also have trouble with cats here. I'm always chasing them off, but don't find that that is very effective in keeping them away. They've killed several of our birds, so I truly detest them. I know they're only following their natures, but that doesn't mean I have to like them. And I don't.

  2. What do you mean, I'm not the center of the universe? I'm crushed to hear that! Thanks, thanks a lot, Martha. Haha!

  3. Hiya Beth! Don't worry about not commenting. You can drop by any time you like and you don't need to leave messages. My virtual door is open to you :)

I was really upset to hear about Mr. Inski. It's difficult to think about a little critter you've been feeding all summer get killed by the neighbour's cat.

And yes, you don't have to like cats. Or like them hanging around your home killing birds that you enjoying having around. I keep my cats indoors for many reasons, mostly to keep them healthy and free of danger, but also because I can't stand the thought of one of them killing one of my backyard critters, and bringing it home to me. The cats are fine inside, and they certainly have more than enough to eat. They don't need to hunt.

Liza, sorry to break the news to you...that you're NOT the center of the universe :)

Tatiana, I can think of a few people who are arrogant enough to believe they are the center of the universe. NOT! :)
