Homegrown Berries

I bought a small strawberry plant in late spring, and although not very much came out of it, it did manage to make a few strawberries, like the one in the photo below:

And the strawberries from this plant were the tastiest I’ve ever had. There really is no beating homegrown.

Next year, I will make it a point of picking up a few more of these plants, so we can enjoy more ‘homegrown’ berries.

  1. That's like my garden! I only got three berries or so, but they were worth a pound of supermarket ones. In fact there is no comparison. Adding lots this year.

  2. That's it, Tatiana. Even though there weren't that many, they were the best I've ever had. Next year, I'll get a few more plants and see what happens. Maybe I'll have more success. It's certainly worth a try.
