Photos Of Bailey And Spaz

If you’re contemplating getting two ferrets, and wondering whether it makes a difference if you get two females, a male and a female, or two males, I’m here to tell you that it doesn’t. As long as both the ferrets are fixed (spayed or neutered), it doesn’t matter what sex they are; they’ll get along fine.

Up until a little while ago (our female passed away), we had a male and female living together and they got along very well. Now we have two males sharing space, and they’re living in harmony.

This is Bailey:

And this is Spaz:

There is no aggression between the two, and they spend a lot of time hanging out together and playing.

When it comes to ferrets, it doesn't matter how you pair them up, what matters is how you raise them, and what type of care you provide. Like all animals, a pet is as good as its owner.
