Maple Glazed Salmon

We don’t eat a lot of fish in our home, which is probably not a very good thing. The main reason is because the family doesn’t like fish on the menu too often. Regardless, once in awhile I make fish for dinner, whether they like it or not. Most of the time they like it, especially with recipes like this one.

Maple Glazed Salmon

6 salmon fillets (3 ounce fillets)
1/4 cup of maple syrup
2 tsp of olive oil
Salt & pepper to taste

1. Add oil to pre-heated sauté pan.

2. Season salmon with salt & pepper and place in hot pan, sear for two minutes on one side and one minute on the other side. Remove and place on baking sheet.

3. Lightly brush 1/2 of the maple syrup on salmon.

4. Bake in oven for 12-15 minutes or until firm to touch. Brush salmon with remaining maple syrup and serve immediately.
