Book It – Rage Of Angels

This week’s featured book:

Rage of Angels
Author: Sidney Sheldon

Overview:

At the heart of this 1980 novel stands a mesmerizing woman who is Sheldon’s most unforgettable creation: Jennifer Parker; a brilliant, beautiful, indomitable and highly-ambitious attorney on her way up. Her life is shadowed by two powerful men-- one a prominent politician, the other the head of a Mafia family.

My Comments:

I have read every book Sidney Sheldon has ever written, and this is one of my favourites. This is an intriguing, fast-paced, easy to read story that will keep you wondering what will happen next. If you’re looking for a book to enjoy while basking in the sun on the beach, while taking a bubble bath or when traveling on a lengthy plane, train or bus ride, consider this one. It’s not a masterpiece, but it is highly entertaining. You’ll laugh and cry, and love and hate the characters.

  1. Good book, I read this one years ago and remember Jennifer Parker in exactly the same way :) My mom recently picked up 3 Sidney Sheldon books for me at a garage sale (Windmills of the Gods, If Tomorrow Comes and The Doomsday Conspiracy) - I'll eventually get to them... so many books and so little time! You're right about the bathtub, lol!

@LaelShine: Ha ha...you are too funny! Not to worry. A lot of people I know have never read a Sidney Sheldon book. If you want to try him out, this is a good one to start with.
