- Robert Brault -

White in the garden is one of the most elegant shades. This is the lovely Acea rosea ‘Chaters Double Mix’.

  2. Love white flowers in the garden.
There is a famous garden in England that only has white flowers, would love to see it one day...

  3. Vita Sackville-West created the White Garden, one of many at Sissinghurst Castle, in Kent. I just looked it up and it is one of the most visited gardens in England, but I couldn't remember the name of it!

@Kay: A garden with only white flowers? Wow. That must be pretty amazing. I'll look it up on the internet. Thanks for the info.

@Jane: I love white flowers. They do have a simple elegance to them. Your weather is as weird as ours. I hope our spring isn't as unstable.

  6. One of my favourite flowers! The 'Hollyhock' is such an old flower and was a staple in most gardens.
These are BEAUTIFUL! What a tease you are showing these in mid winter! lol

  7. @Jim: I love these plants, and I enjoy the flowers as much as I can, because they're short-lived in my backyard; unfortunately, the rabbits eat them.
