Jim Henson is one of my heros! You are younger than I am, but do you know that Rowlf, the Dog was on the Jimmy Dean Show and was one of the first characters that Jim Henson had on TV? I used to stay up to watch that show just to see Rowlf! I think that you are closer in age to my sister and I LOVED watching Sesame Street with her. Do you like Oscar's song, "I Love Trash"? No, I didn't know that, although I know who Rowlf the dog is. That is a cool bit of trivia! Oscar is my favourite character on sesame street and I love his song "I love trash".
Oh OScar! I remember when I was in my 20s, they brought out these t-shirts(for adults) with the Sesame Street characters on them, embroidered and so pretty. I bought an Oscar one-and a few others-but Oscar the Grouch got the most attention!

I saw t-shirts with Sesame Street characters at Wal-Mart yesterday. And a couple of them have Oscar the grouch on them. I am soooo tempted to buy one.
