Mr. Inski Returns!

My favourite backyard critter has made an appearance...Mr. Inski!
(Full Name: Mr. Butt Inski...click here for name explanation.)

He showed up last week, and I’ve been trying very hard to take photos of him.

Most of the backyard critters are still pretty skittish around me. They’re not quite sure about me yet, but by the end of next month, they’ll be so used to seeing me in the garden, they’ll be hanging around nearby. And that will give me an opportunity to take lots and lots and lots of photos!

In the meantime, I’ll just have to bribe them into coming into my yard with treats. Who can resist that? This little cutie certainly can’t.

Welcome back, Mr. Inski!

  4. We have about a dozen squirrels that hang around our backyard that the Mrs. feeds. There are few that will hang around close by now that they are getting used to her.

    1. They must love your wife! Once you start feeding squirrels, they come around regularly, and they aren't as frightened. I have quite a few that drop in every day to munch on whatever goodies I put out there.

  7. Just found your blog through Sulky Kitten and Jane's Jewels! Love your Mr. Inski--we have our own chipmunk (or a dozen) but they do not have wonderful names. They are all named Chippy because we can't tell them apart! ~~ Diane

    1. Welcome, CraveCute! And Mr. Inski says welcome, too. And asks if you have food for him (oh, Mr. inski...). Love that name 'Chippy'; so cute! I'll head over to your blog this morning to check it out. I'm always looking for new places to visit!
