There is no need for words in today’s post. I will let the photos, which are snapshots of Mother Nature’s artistic talent, speak for themselves...
Autumn is truly a magnificent season. Don’t you agree?
Beautiful photos Martha.Autumn colours are stunning. That little islet of trees on the water is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sulky. It is such a lovely time of year to be out and about.
DeleteOh Martha. Your work truly captures the feeling on autumn in Ontario. I can smell wood smoke and crisp air when I look at them. What a wonderful way to start my day!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Francie. Oh, I do love the smell of wood smoke!
DeleteOh wow, Martha...those are amazing photos! It's hard to pick my favorites---I like all of them----but I think I like the one of the leaf so delicately bejeweled by frost and the sixth one from the top with the illuminated trees and the dark brooding sky behind. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThe photo of that leaf is a favourite of mine. I was out early enough to capture a photo of it before the frost melted.
DeleteBreathtaking photos! For some reason, the ones with the chains attract me. And that little island with the one splash of brilliant red.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debra. I like the chains, too. I'm not sure why but they always grab my attention.
DeleteI loved your photos today, Martha. Thank you for providing me with a peaceful moment to start my day :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Cathy. Peace is what I feel when I'm out taking photos.
DeleteYes, I certainly do! We can only hope to capture a touch of her magic in our gardens. By the way, I love your sense of humor

ReplyDeleteI sure am having a good time, Jim. And this time of year is full of photo opportunities.
DeleteYour photos are absolutely perfect Martha. I enjoy seeing them so much especially since I live in Phoenix where there is little evidence of autumn!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nancy. I guess this season is something unusual if you live down south.
