Time to laugh it up!




Life or Death Riddle

This riddle about a harrowing life or death situation combines skill, forethought, and proves how math and physics might be used in everyday life. Would you survive this situation?


The Setup:

You are on a horse, moving forward at a constant speed.

On your right side is a sharp drop off.

On your left side is an elephant traveling at the same speed as you.

Directly in front of you is a bounding kangaroo, and your horse is unable to overtake it.

Directly behind you is a lion, running at the same speed as you and the kangaroo.


The Question:

What must you do to get out of this seemingly dangerous situation safely?

Get your drunk ass off that merry-go-round and go home to sleep it off!

    2. My Dad Ron actually can't handle any 'man-made" sprays, additives etc...effects his breathing and brain! Think it all started when he had to clean everything with javex as a child....that stuff kills his lungs now!

    3. That would certainly do it! That stuff is really strong. I try to stay away from these chemicals as much as I can, and I'm always looking for alternatives.

  7. Thanks for the laughs :) JJ Hubby sure had a hard time trying to solve that Life and Death riddle, hehe! It kind of reminded me of Life of Pi, which I notice you're reading.

  9. OH, that last one is so true. Why do people have to use such strong sprays in their houses and cars? Clean them up, folks!!

  11. Eeeee that first picture was drawn by an Austrian (Gerhard Haderer)! Just found out that he was born here in my town, too, and as far as I know, he still lives in the next town over. And he's my favourite caricaturist - often makes me laugh loudly enough for the neighbours to hear.
