Saturday Silliness

Some humour to put a smile on your face!

Time To Wake Up

A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving each other the silent treatment. The next week the man realized that he would need his wife to wake him at 5.00 am for an early morning business flight to Chicago. Not wanting to be the first to break the silence, he finally wrote on a piece of paper, "Please wake me at 5.00 am."

The next morning the man woke up, only to discover it was 9.00am, and that he had missed his flight. Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn't woken him when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed ... it said... "It is 5.00am; wake up."

  3. Thanks for another hearty laugh on Saturday morning, Martha!
As a retired elementary teacher, I so enjoyed the book one.
Alas, I'm plenty old enough to get the the Walton's cartoon! It really had me chuckling!
And the first one! That could have been an aunt and uncle of mine! Too funny!
    Have a great weekend.

    1. I'm glad you enjoyed, and I hope you are having a nice weekend. I think quite a few of us are old enough to get the Walton's cartoon. I used to watch that show regularly with my family.

    1. That last one is hilarious! Some people create the funniest things. The book title about Clifford the big red dog is my favourite. I laughed so hard with that one. I was a huge fan of this dog when I was a kid, so imagining something like this is just too funny.
