Today's Trivia - The Multi-Talented James Cameron

Whenever one thinks of James Cameron, they typically think of film producing and film directing. But what most of us don’t know is that he’s got drawing talent, too.

That’s right.

The sketch that Jack (Leo Di Caprio) drew of Rose wearing the famous necklace in the blockbuster movie "Titanic" was really drawn by director James Cameron. The hands that we see drawing the sketch are really Cameron's. Cameron was also responsible for all the other sketches that were in Jack's sketchbook.

Who knew?

Pretty impressive, Mr. Cameron.

  1. Interesting - I didn't know that was him. I've always envied people who can sketch things easily. I can barely draw a circle.

    2. Saw the movies! They were great. I don't have any artistic talent, but my brother who passed away did. He was born with a natural talent for art, and began drawing when he was just a little thing, around 4 or so. People who have talent like that fascinate me.

  5. I love to draw but I could never get the hang of charcoal sketching. Good ole fashion pencil and paper for me lol. And forget painting!

    1. That is great! My brother who died did a lot of pencil and paper drawing. He was very good at it. My younger daughter shows signs of that talent, but hasn't pursued it as much.
