Pin Up Girls...er...Felines?

Just when I think I’ve seen it all, I run across a site called “Cats That Look Like Pin Up Girls”, which is about exactly what the title implies: cats that look like pin up girls. Photos of (unsuspecting) cats are placed next to photos of pin up girls that they resemble.

Take a look:

Aren’t they hilarious?

Yes, there’s even one of Grumpy Cat. I can't imagine she's happy about this. Poor kitty...

  6. Hi Martha!
I can't believe it! I wrote a huge comment to you about all your amazing recent posts and accidentally wiped it put! Aaarrrrgggghhhhh! It's Sophie's fault! I decided to say something to her before publishing my comment! Stupid! Stupid!

You have had awesome posts that I connected with in the past couple of weeks. The Condoleezza Rice quote pretty much sums up my "philosophy" of life. Your philosophy comment brought up memories for me of my marathon all-nighter to read "Plato's Republic" in one read ~ in my mother's hard childhood bed that she had shared with her sister. Grammie (Smith's Cove) was not impressed because I wanted to sleep all the next day. I remember the shadows the bed light cast on the walls that night better than Plato's cave! I'm with you: read, read, read anything you want to! I would like to have met JRR Tolkien ~ even if he was probably indifferent to cats. And I saw Hemingway's six-toed cats at his home in Key West ~ well, their descendants! Loved the story of your daughter and popcorn ~ not to mention all the wonderful humor, photos, and tidbits from the past couple of weeks. Lovely horses ~ and animal rescuers! I am totally with you on phones and cell phones! And that video of the toddler, the dog, and the puddle ~ precious! I remember splashing in puddles joyfully! Do you? Have a good one!

    1. Thank you for the lovely post. My blog is a place to have fun. Once in awhile I'll write about more serious topics, but for the most part, I want this space to be somewhere where I can laugh out loud and have a good time...and share it with everyone else. Don't we have enough serious things in our lives already?

  10. I sometimes wonder if the silly poses pin ups get arranged in didn't come from cats originally.
