The Checkout Line
A woman was waiting in the checkout line at a shopping center. Her arms were heavily laden with a mop and broom and other cleaning supplies. By her agitated state of mind and angry demeanor, it was obvious she was in a hurry and not happy about the slowness of the line.
When the cashier called for a price check on a box of soap, the woman remarked indignantly, "Well, I'll be lucky to get out of here and home before Christmas!"
"Don't worry, ma'am," replied the clerk. "With that wind kicking up out there and that brand new broom you have, you'll be home in no time."

Funny! Was laughing all the way through!! I like the kitties, and the witch in line (if that is a true story - well bravo for that store clerk!) ... and before I even read the caption with the owls I was thinking about that old commercial with the owl!)

ReplyDeleteI have one cat that sits on my lap quite often whenever I'm in front of my computer. And she pushes her head against my hand to be petted. Cats need to be the center of attention!
