Thanks Martha! I've often thought that life is like being on a train ride. You can't get off and it follows the rails and takes you places you didn't expect. But you can enjoy the trip and all the scenery even as you go through the storms on the trip. Thanks for sharing this picture and saying Martha!
Yes, "so stop pacing the aisles and counting the miles. Instead, swim more rivers, climb more mountains, kiss more babies, count more stars. Laugh more and cry less. Go barefoot oftener. Eat more ice cream. Ride more merry-go-rounds. Watch more sunsets. Life must be lived as we go along. The station will come soon enough". That is a beautiful picture, Martha :)
Martha! This is wonderful! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jim. Hope you had a great weekend.

ReplyDeleteYou sure can enjoy it. We don't have control over a lot of things in our lives, and it seems futile to try and fight it.
DeleteI can smell the creosote on those railway ties from here!
ReplyDeleteI guess I succeeded with the photo...LOL...
DeleteI could go on forever and ever along those tracks...
ReplyDeleteI'd love to take a cross country tour on the train to see this whole beautiful country of ours.
Deletegreat quote
