Sunny Side Up

"The everyday kindness of the back roads more than makes up for the acts of greed in the headlines."
- Charles Kuralt-

This week’s feel good post is about an unsung hero; an old soul that restores my often shattered faith in humanity. Narayanan Krishnan has dedicated his life to helping those in need, to practicing compassion and kindness toward others. How many of us are remotely close to the enlightenment that this selfless man’s spirit has reached?

I wish you all a wonderful weekend!

  1. Wow what a moving video, especially when he says food is only one part, but love is another. Everybody needs love!!!

    1. I think that's what touches me the most about this man...that he believes that love is nourishment, and practices it, too!

    1. It is very inspiring that there are people like him in this world. And encouraging. We're always bombarded by bad news, vicious acts of greedy and cold people... This is very refreshing.

  4. Thank you for sharing this Martha! Even before he talked about not just feeding these people but offering them love too... I saw it the minute he offered the hug to that man and thought that human touch and caring is probably even more valuable than the food they receive... This moved me to tears and I will definitely be looking further into this.
    Thank you again.

    1. The love and affection he offers these people is probably much more beneficial to them. He makes them feel human, and gives them a purpose.

  10. Thanks for showing this to us. Powerful example of what one person can do if they want to, and are prepared to sacrifice the comforts that most of us strive to acquire.

    A rare human being.
