    Was just reading in the paper tonight how all of the swans are counted every year- on the Thames I think. And it has been going on since the 12th century! Beautiful photo, Martha!

      That is pretty amazing, Francie! The two I photographed at this river (this one is one of them) were tagged. I guess they're being monitored in some way.
