Photography is something that I enjoy immensely, and something that helps me get away from it all...and totally unwind. In the past few months I have taken an abundance of images, and today seems like a good day (after a very busy three days) to dump some of them into a post with minimal text.

Do you see the face on this barn door? |
Contrasting water. |
A dilapidated barn door that looks like a painting. |
Basement windows at an abandoned psychiatric hospital. So creepy... |
The most amazing man in the world taking a photo of me taking a photo of him. |
Mr. Robin all refreshed after a nice bath. |
Abandoned in the country. |
Basking in the sun. |
That's it for now. I wish you all a lovely Tuesday. And don’t forget to stop and look around once in awhile. The world is a beautiful photograph.
If this is a photo dump, then I'm in trouble. These are marvelous. xo
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nancy! That's very sweet :)
Deletecool frog
ReplyDeleteHappily enjoying the sun.
DeleteThe photos are lovely! Saw the face right away on the barn. I love doing photo dumps...then again my blog is one big photo dump though. I'm always taking and posting photos. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your work! It's original and very creative.
DeleteOOh these are wonderful photos!! I can't even pick my favorite. Like you, I love photography and my day-trips. What I finally realized is that photography has a zen effect...I'm in the present while takin pics!
ReplyDeleteYes, it certainly has a zen effect. When I'm taking photos, I'm focused and totally relaxed.
DeletePhoto exhibit is more like it, Martha. These are wonderful! Really like the dilapidated barn door.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jim. There are so many wonderful photo opportunities around here. How can you NOT want to take images?
DeleteGreat choices to share Martha! The barn door after your daughter's pic of course!!! Mmmmm!
ReplyDeleteThat barn door was pretty amazing. The abandoned farm buildings make for fantastic images.
DeleteI'm biased, but I like the robin photo best. Your family is charming too, Martha.
ReplyDeleteKeep enjoying.
xoRobyn
That robin stops by several times a day for a bath. He is my favourite backyard critter...along with the chipmunk!
DeleteLove the pictures. The basement windows give one pause for thought, I must say and mr. Robin doesn't care in the least that he's having a bad feather day!
ReplyDeleteAfter he blow dries, he's good to go :)
DeleteI did see the face in the barn door. Great photo dump.
ReplyDeleteI see faces everywhere! It's a lot of fun.
DeleteYour pictures are wonderful! I see the face in the barn door, he has bangs and is sticking out his tongue! haha!
ReplyDeleteYes, you got it! That's what I see, too. A barn with a great sense of humour...and a little attitude :)
DeleteI am in awe of your talent.
ReplyDeleteThe first photo, of your daughter is amazing and so is the basement windows at the old psychiatric hospital.
Thats is where they would have locked me back in the day.
Beautiful work Martha, keep it up !
That is a very old psychiatric building that is now abandoned. I've no doubt that there are so horrible stories pertaining to it.
DeleteIt's obvious that you love taking pictures. It shows.
ReplyDeleteIt's my favourite way to unwind and get away from it all!
DeleteYour photos are aways so lovely to look at.
ReplyDeleteThank you; that is sweet!
DeleteThese are all great! What an amazing, impressionistic barn door -- very cool.
ReplyDeleteThat barn door was awesome. It's the best one I've seen so far. Very artistic.
DeleteA photo dump can be such fun. The barn door is very artistic and you're right, it looks like a painting. And the frog photo is great.
ReplyDeleteA photo dump is a great way to share photos that you don't know how to otherwise attach to a blog post!
DeleteThanks for stopping by and leaving a comment, Denise!
