Inside My Introverted Brain

Whenever I’m watching or photographing animals, I think about their day to day routine. And imagine them living no differently than us. I guess you can say that I anthropomorphize them. I don’t actually believe it, but it is fun to picture them doing things like this:

And a little of this:

And especially this:

Now, if only my cats could really do this:

Instead of spending every single day doing nothing else but this:

My cat, Mocha, living the easy life. Is she spoiled or what?
A great weekend to all!

  1. I'm pretty sure my girlfriend and I looked like those two monkeys last night as we were grossly overserved!

  2. Oh boy, that gorilla said it all for animals didn't he/she! Sometimes I don't think we deserve to share the planet with them. However most of us treat them well and that is important to keep in mind, eh? Have a great week-end Martha!

    1. That is important to keep in mind! There are many of us that are good to the animals, so I'm clinging to hope, Francie!

I hope you have a lovely weekend!

  5. Ha ha, Mocha is maximizing that cool leather against her belly, clever kitty!

    1. It's not leather; just fabric. No leather in this house! The cats would destroy it with their claws. I've been down that road many years ago with previous cats and it wasn't a pretty sight!

    1. If my cats would vacuum up the hair they leave all over the place, that would be great!

I can truly picture squirrels living like that.

  11. None of the cat pictures I've ever took could qualify as a LOLCat. Local animals, why you are not funny?

  12. O hahaha.. the lemur is my favourite! The first picture of the squirrel makes me think of your pin -- hope she's sitting on your collar lol :)

    1. I don't know, but both my cats sleep like this often. It doesn't seem comfortable to me, but they seem okay with it.

  17. Oh, Martha! We would have such fun together! I think like this. And I am a Blue. And an Introvert. Are you Highly Sensitive as well? http://www.hsperson.com/pages/test.htm

    1. There is no doubt that we would have a blast together! I am sensitive, but not really to a high level; at least not with everything. I'm extremely sensitive when it comes to animals, for example, and can be stressed and grief-stricken for days on end when I learn/hear about a case of animal cruelty. I also respond this way with injustices done to children and the elderly, or other vulnerable people. But noises, smells, bright lights, hectic schedules and other stimuli don't really bug me that much. I am able to deal with that.
