Friday we drove to a place in this big city:
Where we could see lots of animals...like this one:
Can you guess where we spent the entire day?
I’ll give you a hint: It begins with the letter ‘z’ and ends with double ‘o’.
That's right! I knew you’d get it. You’re all so smart.
We returned home happy but exhausted from this outing. And I snapped over 400 images while I was there. Lots of pictures to share! Doing the happy dance ♪♫♫♪
Anyway, let’s get this week started with some humour. Today it’s all about the start of the school year...
Happy Labour Day for everyone who is off today.
Wishing you all a great month!
Haven't been to the zoo, hope you had a great day.
ReplyDeleteIt was fun!
DeleteI bet you had some fun snapp'n away! thanks for the giggle ... we're off today, but kids have already started school (last week)!
ReplyDeleteWhen I'm out snapping photos, it's always a good time. One of my daughters started school last week; the other one started today. Back to our routines, now!
Deletelol on the winky face
ReplyDeleteThat is a good one!
DeleteThis collection is so funny, Martha! As a retired teacher, I really appreciated these! Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteI know the teachers get a real kick out of these. Hope you also have a great week!
DeleteYes, the ancient use of the semi-colon, LOL! And the "hormone centre powerpak" applies to all adolescents, doesn't it? Looking forward to your zoo photos.
ReplyDeleteHistorical moments back in our days...LOL...
DeleteYes, all adolescents have one of those 'powerpaks'!
Ah, September... lots of smiling parents, frowning children, crying teachers...
ReplyDeleteHahaha...yes, all of that!
DeleteROFL! These were great! Yeah, when school starts up again I feel this odd sort of "I'll be trapped forever" feeling welling up inside of me. Thank goodness that's in the past. My son and I were in the car driving past his old school (before we home schooled) and the sign read: "Your children will love it here!" and my son let out this totally sarcastic, "Yeah..." and then put up his hands on either side of his face and feigned a child pressed against glass with this totally helpless look on his face wishing to be free. LOL! Well, you know where we're coming on the school scene. College is different... middle school and high school... ack! Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI think middle school and high school are tough times for kids. And yes, college is so different.
DeleteHope you are having a good week so far!
These were great ... took me a second on the Dinosaur one.... hahaaa
ReplyDeleteWell, you're not alone. Took me a second, too, when I first saw it!
Deletefunny 'back to school' tribute!
ReplyDeleteSomething fun to get the school year off on the right track!
DeleteFrom a retired teacher , this was a hoot. I didn't know there were so many different feelings kids had about going back to school!!!!
ReplyDeleteThere sure are. Some love it, some hate it!
DeleteLoved the back to school 'toons. So funny! (Especially since I no long have to attend!)
ReplyDeleteIt seems like so long ago. Oh, wait...it WAS long ago! Haha...
DeleteThe dinosaur class is really cute, my favorite.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Monday and week, Martha.
xoRobyn
Poor Rex...he has his fair share of problems, doesn't he?
Delete'But I don't wanna go back to school!!' That would have been me!
ReplyDeleteHahahaha... I've no doubt you had moments like that!
DeleteZOO ~~~ oh yes please!!!!!!
