Saturday, we got out and about, but I didn’t come home with too many pictures. I just didn’t ‘see’ very much that interested me. I have days like that. The autumn shades are coming up, so I expect there’ll be plenty to photograph.
For now, let’s get to this week's funny stuff...
The Minister
A minister parked his car in a no-parking zone in a large city because he was short of time and couldn’t find a space with a meter. Then he put a note under the windshield wiper that read: ‘I have circled the block 10 times. If I don’t park here, I’ll miss my appointment. Forgive us our trespasses.’
When he returned, he found a citation from a police officer along with this note ‘I’ve circled this block for 10 years. If I don’t give you a ticket I’ll lose my job. Lead us not into temptation.’
Wishing each and every one of you a good day and a wonderful week.
Oh gosh these are hilarious, thanks so much I really needed a good laugh
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed, Lorraine. We all need to laugh regularly!
DeleteMy socks need to remember the buddy system. I have a whole pile of singles who lost their buddy somewhere in the great abyss between the washer and the dryer.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if some of them run away from home!
DeleteThank you for the Monday mornings laughs :)
ReplyDeleteAnd you're right - isn't it crazy that it's going to be October in two weeks??
It is very crazy. This month seems to be zipping right by!
DeleteI bet dad told them to write that
ReplyDeleteI would not be surprised!
DeleteThese are hilarious! I like the buddy system and the Minister one.

ReplyDeleteYou helped cure my headache!
Thank you!
Laughter is the best medicine of all!
DeleteChildren indeed. Martha you make me smile- even at 2.45am. A buddy system for socks would be ideal around here.
ReplyDeleteThere's no end to smiling. It's 24/7
DeleteI thought the Abdominal Snowman was the best, until I read the last one. That's hilarious, since I'm not Mommy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the laughs.
