Chuckles and Chortles

I hope you all had a good weekend. The weather is really starting to cool off around here, and although there are still a lot of beautiful flowers growing in my garden, most of the plants are done for the year. Beginning this week, I will start cleaning and putting away garden decorations. It's a little sad that the gardening season is coming to an end, but I look forward to the beautiful shades of autumn and all the photo opportunities.

But first, let's take a moment to laugh...

Make it a great week, everyone!

  7. Good Morning Martha,
I too find it sad that the gardening season is coming to an end.
We have had an abundance of tomatoes from our garden this summer.
The cherry tomatoes are like eating candy, so sweet!

Thanks so much for the Monday morning chuckles,a good way to start my day and now for some coffee :)

    Have a great day!

    1. We have the same erratic weather, but sooner or later it'll get cool ALL the time! Hopefully later than sooner.... I am cleaning up some garden decor while it's still really nice, but leaving a lot of the work till the end of September. Some plants are still blooming and I'll let them run their course.

    1. Poor T-Rex, for sure. Talk about being in a crappy situation :) Sorry, just couldn't help myself.

It is quite humid today, but rainy. Yesterday was gorgeous! A great day to be out in the garden. I'm just putting away some garden decorations while it's still warm and I can work with the hose comfortably. The rest of the work won't get done till the end of September, so there'll still be lots of time for some blooms before the frost arrives.

    1. The weather is always so erratic this type of year, but before you know it, the first frost will arrive. I just hope it's a nice autumn season so the winter will feel shorter!
