“The difference between a mountain and a molehill is your perspective.”

We all see the world that surrounds us in different ways. With photography you get to share that perspective with others. That is one driving force for people like me who love to capture life through a camera lens.
Below are some images from my perspective...
Feeling a little chained down? |
Pretty in red. |
Today's photo dump has been brought to you by the letter 'S'. |
♫♪'♫ 'Ebunny' and Ivory live together in perfect harmony... ♫♪♫ |
I don't know what it is about them, but boarded windows really creep me out. |
A quiet moment by Lake Ontario during our two day road trip last month. |
No matter what type of cat, they have this in common: they love to sleep. |
Mother Nature rising up from the floorboards to take over the world. Beware! |
And a 'moo' to you, too. |
Still waters run deep. |
Make it a great day!
That cow is perfect. She should be on a commercial. Got milk?
ReplyDeleteLet's hope she's discovered! :)
DeleteI love the swan and the bunnies :)
ReplyDeleteYou can never go wrong with swans and bunnies!
DeleteActually, my favorite was that window...!
ReplyDeleteI love photographing windows, particularly when they are creepy like that.
DeleteBeautiful Ontario! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYes, beautiful Ontario! So much to see and do.
DeleteLMHO - my favourite was the window too!!!
ReplyDeleteand the Still waters run deep is gorgeous as well
( you know they all are - but if we're picking favourites here ............)
xx
That window is a favourite of mine. I love abandoned buildings and their creepy looks!
Deletecute bunnies
ReplyDeleteThey are both so sweet.
Delete"Ebunny and ivory" -- grrrrooooooaaaaaaaannnn! But an appreciative groan, you understand.
ReplyDeleteHahaha...even I groaned when I was writing that. I was hoping someone would groan with me!
DeleteThe old wood does it every time! Great shots Martha. The 'chain and the delicate sprigs of vegetation' shot is a study in contrasts and is lovely.
ReplyDeleteYou are right, Jim. I don't know what it is about old wood, but it begs to be photographed!
DeleteCaptions and photos go together well. I really like the first one of the old rusty chain with the idea of being tied down.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Red. I love rusty old things. They make for nice images.
DeleteGorgeous Martha! I love the hollyhock and the swan the most!
ReplyDeleteThat hollyhock is my pride and joy in the garden. It grows over 7 feet tall and creates the most beautiful flowers.
Deletelove your photo dumps! always a great collection
ReplyDeleteAnd it is a great way to put together a quick and easy post :)
DeleteI am really enjoying all your photos, Martha. My favorites from these were the chain, the rabbits and the hollyhock. I liked the little plant popping out just above the chain... it kind of reminds me that no matter how much life may seem to keep you down at times, something inside always reaches for the light. Brightest blessings, Bird http://birdsearthyspirit.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bird. That is a wonderful way to describe that; it is so true! Whenever I'm out taking pictures, I notice plants growing in the most unlikely places. Wherever there is light, there is hope.
DeleteWatch those rabbits. Totally vicious and mean!
ReplyDeleteI want to be a cat. It would be a lovely thing, I think.
I'd love to be a cat just to experience what they think, feel, etc. I think that would be really cool.
DeleteBeautiful. I epecially love the ones with a nostalgic touch to them, like the chains, the boarded up windows or the fence - it's amazing how everyday life objects can be a piece of art when portrayed in the right angle and light. :D
ReplyDeletehugs
Patricia
