I Am Thankful For Each Rising Sun

With arms outstretched I thank.
With heart beating gratefully I love.
With body in health I jump for joy.
With spirit full I live.
- Terri Guillemets -

This month has been spectacular. I am so grateful for it. I’ve spent a lot of time outdoors soaking up the beautiful weather, making friends along country roads, being in awe of the autumn shades, capturing these precious moments with my camera, and sharing each day with people I love.

I am grateful for all the special friends I make along country roads.
Time passes quickly, and life is fleeting. Not all days are sunny. Not all days are good. But all days are a gift, and I try to make the most of each one. No matter what’s going on and no matter how I’m feeling, I am thankful for each rising sun that includes me in it.

Let’s end the week with an upbeat song that reminds us to have a good time while we’re here.

Wishing you all a great weekend!

  15. What a beautiful post, and you look so beautiful as well -- glowing and full of joy. Indeed, nature is such a blessing, and so is being surrounded by the people we love and who love us as well. That donkey -- yes, I'm pretty sure donkey (mules are more "horsey") -- looks like he knows the secret to perfect serenity :)

    1. I'm always happiest when I'm outdoors surrounded by all that Mother Nature has to offer. Throw in a few animals and I'm glowing. My hubby snaps photos of me when we're out or else there would never be any. I'm always the one taking pictures! I guess then that is a donkey with those big old ears! Cutest little critter. And so wonderfully friendly.

I hope you are very well and that the days that aren't so bright are never too dark and the days that are bright outshine all the ones that didn't seem so bright at all. 1. Thank you, Bird! You are very kind. Yes, I was extremely happy when this photo was taken. I am always happy when these animals come over to say hello. And many times they let me pet them, which is quite soul soothing. All of these beautiful creatures with their gentle spirits and trusting nature remind me of what's right in this world. Hurting them is beyond sinful. Blessing and hugs to you, too!

    1. It's been such an amazing month. How can anyone not enjoy being outdoors in weather like this? May as well get out there while the weather is still warm. Winter will be here before you know it, and there'll be plenty of really cold days to curl up indoors.
