And a new week begins. How is everyone? Did you all enjoy the weekend? I hope you did. On Saturday it felt like spring in my small city; sunny and very mild for this time of year. We spent part of the afternoon walking around downtown and part of it strolling through Lake Ontario Park. You couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day. Yesterday was just as mild, but it was raining; a perfect day to cozy up inside and relax.
I finished painting my basement, thank you for asking, and I’m quite satisfied with the results. It was worth all the trouble. In the next few months, I will be tackling additional renovations around the house, which have needed doing for awhile. It’ll keep me busy...and out of trouble!
But right now at this very moment, it’s time to laugh a little. Let’s get to that...
Wishing you all a terrific week ahead!
Oh gosh I love this, laughed out loud, hope I didn't wake the baby zombie in the apt next door...lol I quit dating a long time ago lol i love this I especially Love starting Monday with Laughter, thank you m'dear, have a great one lol
ReplyDeleteI laughed so much with the one comparing toddlers to zombies! I'd never thought of them that way, but it makes sense. Hahaha...
DeleteHilarious, Martha (PS I was one of the kids who rooted for the coyote LOL)
ReplyDeleteMe, too! And I also loved Sylvester the cat. Tweety got on my nerves!
DeleteLOL! LOVE LOVE LOVE the first one, Martha! Just look at those eyes!
ReplyDeleteI know! Poor (misunderstood) critter...
DeleteO hahaha... I love the cat one of course. But those fridge notes are great too -- they remind me of the gems my father and the kids often leave on ours lol!
ReplyDeleteAnd the sillier they are, the better! I love when people have a zany sense of humour :)
DeleteI did have a good weekend. We had 20 cm of snow so lots of shoveling. I really like the last funny about the brownies.
ReplyDeleteWow, that much snow! It's still quite mild here. No snow in sight...yet!
DeleteThese are funny! I just forwarded the kids one to my daughter. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love these crazy cartoons. I can't imagine a day without something wacky in it!
DeleteSo funny! I imagine some stoners laughing their butts off at the pot joke and eating brownies at the same time.
ReplyDeleteHahaha...yes! For sure.
DeleteLoved the laughs here Martha! Funny stuff. Will you be posting a picture of your painted basement?
ReplyDeleteI don't know...I never thought of doing that! Haha... I'll have to give it some thought. Doesn't seem interesting enough!
DeletePoor Wile E. Coyote always got a bum rap. I hope that's his footprint in the brownies!
ReplyDeleteHahaha...it may very well be!
DeleteThanks for a bunch of terrific laughs Martha! Just what I needed!
ReplyDeleteAlways happy to oblige, Nancy. Humour is the greatest thing.
