Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, to all. How did the weekend treat you? Mine was quieter than I’d planned. I’d hoped to get out and take some winter photos in the country, but the weather didn’t cooperate. I. Am. So. Sick. Of. Winter. And I’m really looking forward to spring’s arrival. Yesterday, I posted this image on my Facebook page:

That's how I feel.

Spring, where are you?

Do you have a personal Facebook page? I have one, but it’s quite inactive. I keep a presence online as a means for family and friends to keep in touch with me, and share things, but I don’t spend much time there. The blogging world is my preference. I find it much more interesting.

Anyhow, another week begins, which takes us one step closer to spring. Let’s start it off with some laughter, shall we?

Have a great day, everyone!

  1. Love it love it LOVE it! Especially the first one about Facebook. I prefer Blogtopia to Facebook too.
My weekend was incredibly quiet - but not due to snow. A migraine on Saturday and a daughter with an ear infection on Sunday.
    Such is life. :)

  2. Oh, yes, it's true about FB. But I am on there a great deal... because my family told me they missed me on there. I hadn't been on in over a year or so. I love blogging so much too. I think I much prefer it as well. But I Twitter too now because of all the activity in the Autistic community on there and I'm involved with that.

I love these. They're great. And I"m sick of snow too. It's very, very cold again this week. I can't seem to get the house warm enough. I'm looking forward to spring. I'm working on a garden for Kettle's front yard. Hey, if I can't big people garden, I'm going to little people garden. Oh yeah!

    1. I keep my Facebook account so I can be found if old friends are searching for me. It's also a way for my family to share things if need be. But I'm not active on it. Occasionally I'll post something, but not very often. I have a Facebook page for my blog, which I enjoy much more.

  6. My Mondays are WAAAY more fun now that I can enjoy C&C here weekly.

I like FB as a tool for common interest groups, otherwise I'm seldom there, Martha :) I love visiting blogs, but lately I seem to be taking so much longer to get to them all. Slowing down as I age :)

    1. Or just too busy! I'm tackling a lot of things lately, and having trouble keeping up with blogs. I get to them eventually; when I can!

  7. I was on FB a few years ago but after a couple of months, I deleted my account. What a time suck! And no one ever said anything worth reading, quite frankly. I much prefer the blogosphere too.

  10. Morning, Martha ;) … I enjoy Facebook. I have some 'fun' pals … I unfriended or they unfriended me the ones who like to spread that fear and hate political bullshit. don't have time for that.

I enjoy someone's post who is thinking about starting a new business and well… it's immediate feedback … or fear of going to the doctor and so forth … and SOME who LOVE Christmas … LOL … waving at Keith

I love seeing your posts … that goofy Mario mushroom one cracked me up this morning… haaha

  12. LOL, love the Amazon one!

I do not like Facebook at all. I deleted my account forever but a nasty member of my family is still using it to drag me into her problems. I in turn refuse to respond.

  19. Thanks for the good chuckles. The one of the cat made me laugh out loud. Yeah, I'm on facebook, but don't spend a lot of time on there. It started as a means to keep up with our kids and grandchildren, but morphed into a lot more. Still, I prefer Blogger.

Chin up. We're another day closer to spring.

    1. Ah, Canadian winters...they can be pretty rough. But if we can just get to the end of February, we'll be in a good place! March can be a little rough, but it's easy to get through. Don't feel bad, Lorraine; I've fallen behind on blogs. I've been very busy this month, and have trouble keeping up. I do the best I can. I should have a quiet few days, so I will try to catch up.
