Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, everyone, and happy March! The month that is going to bring us spring has arrived like a lion. Will this winter never end? I was reading an article recently that stated that regions throughout Canada are experiencing one of the coldest and snowiest winters in decades. No kidding! So I’m justified in being tired of waking up to another cold and cloudy day. My husband is tired of shoveling snow. And he’s “afraid to go to sleep”. Because every time he wakes up “it has snowed again.” Which means more shoveling...

Well, it can’t last forever, right?

My older daughter and her boyfriend are visiting! They arrived yesterday afternoon, and they’ll be staying with us until Wednesday. I am thrilled! We don’t see them as often as we’d like, and it’ll be fun having them here. The month – despite the bitter cold and mountains of snow - has started off wonderfully because of this visit.

Okay, enough of the blabbing. Let’s get to the funny stuff!

Wishing you all a lovely day, week and month!

  1. Good Monday to you too Martha,

For years I shoveled my driveway, but few year back, I hire a company to do it for me... best decision ever! I could look outside and enjoy the sight of the snow falling down without having my back telling me that moving a ton of that crap was not something it was design to do.

I really enjoy the poster of the before and after election... darn I could have use that yesterday :)

Enjoy your visit this week, we are also getting our oldest daughter for a few days and can't wait to give her some hugs!

  4. You always find the best LOLs, Martha! That before/after elections one is Stephen Harper to a tee! When the sweaters, the music, the wife and the kittens come out, you know it's election time. Afterwards he puts his jackboots back on.
