One of my favourite things about photography is how it forces me to pay attention to my surroundings, how it encourages me to notice and discover things that I may have otherwise missed in this excessively fast paced world we live in. As soon as I step into that creative mode, I slow down, and the beauty and wonder that was previously blurred comes into sharp focus.

DeleteI love the Lake Ontario photos and think you should perhaps go and look at the view from the ferris wheel yourself (says the woman who couldn't cope with the Legoland wheel for 3 year olds).
ReplyDeleteHahaha...that was funny, Sarah! I'm not a fan of heights, but there are some things I can deal with. The ferris wheel is one of them. I have been on one, but very long ago. I've forgotten what it's like!

ReplyDeleteThere are many of those frogs at the cemetery near my home. There is a pond in there that they love to hang out at. I will go looking for them again this year when the weather is nicer!

DeleteI loved the flamingo! At first glance, looks like a brilliant flower just waiting to open up. I also really liked the sunset. I always find sunsets (and sunrises) so peaceful and meditative. Thank you, as always, for sharing your passion and beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteThose flamingos are wonderfully colorful. Whenever we visit the zoo, I make it a point of finding and photographing them. Ah...sunsets and sunsets...both so magical. I can't wait till the weather is nicer to spend more time outdoors.
