Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, everyone! Did you all have a nice weekend? I certainly hope you did. Ours was absolutely fabulous. We had guests from out of town, and we toured all over the city with them. My cousin (our moms are sisters) and his beautiful  wife (she was born in Canada) are visiting in Montreal from Greece, and my brother drove them here from Montreal, so we can see them, too. They arrived in Kingston Saturday afternoon and left this morning, and in less than 48 hours we managed to squeeze in a gazillion sights around here. My cousins loved this area, and I realized that for a little city, Kingston has so many amazing things to offer. Anyway, they’ll be staying in Montreal for around one more week, and then they’ll be making their way to the States to visit other family, and some friends. It was such a joy having them here. They are so much fun!

My cousins to the left. My brother and I to the right. (Hm...my hair's not as short as I thought after a recent cut.)
This photo was taken by the most amazing man in the world while touring Fort Henry.

One of the reasons we spent two whole days touring was because spring has truly sprung. The weather was spectacular. It wasn’t always sunny, but it was wonderfully warm, so we were able to walk for hours on end. And take a gazillion photos. What a great time. And to top it all off, my garden is starting to wake up!

I can't wait to see the garden fill up with beautiful flowers.

I’m so excited, I feel like dancing around the house. Maybe I’ll do just that. But first, let’s start this new week off with a smile.

Have a wonderful day, and a fantastic week!

Glad you had a good weekend. Love the pictures. And now for the question I always ask. What did you all eat over the weekend?

    1. Well, like I told you, we mostly ate out. But light stuff. My cousins eat quite healthy. I was pleasantly surprised. And realized that I'm not too bad with my eating habits either. Good stuff!

Spring has definitely sprung because we've got lots of rain. And that's okay. We really need it to clean up the area.

The most amazing man in the world is in plenty of other photos. I made sure of that! LOL
