“The most important attribute a photographer can have is enthusiasm.”
- Arnold Drapkin -
One thing’s for certain: I don’t lack enthusiasm when it comes to taking photos. In my lifetime, I’ve pressed the camera’s shutter button thousands upon thousands of times. And I’m not done yet.
Here is this week’s collection of photos taken with enthusiasm...
The Island Queen is a triple decked paddlewheeler that offers different types of cruises. |
Just moseying on by. |
I found a happy face in my coffee. Made me smile. |
This tiny critter was crossing a road, and I was worried she'd get crushed, so I moved her to a safer place. |
Before you know it, this area will be full of boats. |
"You looking at me?" |
A wall on an old building in an alleyway in the downtown area. |
A few more flowers in the garden have decided it's time to bloom. |
Parked on her fanny. |
Windows on an abandoned building. |
Wishing you all a fabulous day!
Martha,
ReplyDeleteI love all your photos.
Your garden flowers are so gorgeous.
Parked on her Fancy , love that one!
It's always such a joy to see your shots.
Bravo on these.
Thank you, Margie. You are always so sweet :)
DeleteIt's like opening a beautiful photography book every time I come here - I love the diversity of your subjects
ReplyDelete( and your captions are priceless lol )

Thanks, Suzan! You are always so kind with your comments. xoxo to you, too!
DeleteLovely photos Martha! You have such a sweet soul...saving a wooly caterpillar....awww!!
ReplyDeleteThe thought of these little critters getting crushed as they try to make their way along is really upsetting to me. It only takes a few seconds to place them somewhere a little safer.
DeleteYou have captured the bloom of the flowers wonderfully!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Chirasree!
DeleteI love all you photos, and you break me up with your comments, bravo, never stop, how strange that an old building can be as appealing as a brand new flower, and I like your gentleness with little critters so that they don't get smashed by cars....I love that about you, Have a great weekend...and Happy mother's day xxx
ReplyDeleteThere is beauty to be found everywhere, as you well know since you enjoy taking photos as much as I do.
DeleteOh those little critters, Lorraine. I really like them, and the thought of them getting crushed really bothers me. They're just trying to get by like any other living creature, and moving them to a safer spot gives me peace of mind.
Happy Mother's day to you, too xoxo
