I'm always happiest near the water. |
...and making new friends.
It's always fun to visit with feathered friends. |
It was a spectacular day, and I’m so grateful for being able to experience it. This week will once again be dedicated to gardening, which I’m looking forward to.
But before I step outside, let’s start the day off right...with some humour.
I wish you all a wonderful day, and a great month!
Martha I know what you mean - where on earth did May go?? This year is going super fast, which I am personally glad about though because it means I am closer to moving! I hope you have a great week gardening. I love the laughs - especially opera cat :)
ReplyDeleteYes, I bet you are counting the seconds for that wonderful move! It's not easy being apart from someone you love. For you, I want the time to pass quickly. For me, slowly... LOL...
DeleteI know, my gosh it flew by. Sounds like a great weekend for you and your honey bunny. I just sent mine out the door. Headed to dish, prep and cracked. Enjoy being outside. Sounds fantastic.
ReplyDeleteIt was a really nice weekend. On Sunday, we really enjoyed time off, and being outdoors. We always have a great time together no matter what we're doing. We're not just a couple; we're also best friends. That is one thing about our relationship that I love.
DeleteBaby Moses, LOL!
ReplyDeleteI know...the little rascal!
DeleteHa ha! Nice collection of funnies. I needed a laugh this morning. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed, Linda! Sometimes a good laugh is exactly what we need.
DeleteI love the photo of you talking a photo of our favourite subjects,...and that little cat oh he had downpath, thanks for the chuckles and beautiful photo, always x
ReplyDeleteThat's my hubby...always snapping photos of me snapping photos! I swear, if it wasn't for him, there would hardly be any photos of me.
DeleteSame here, what happened to May? Plenty of chuckles here today! Now and then I catch an episode of hoarders and then start cleaning my house!
ReplyDeleteThe months are going by too quickly. After a very long and hard winter, I was hoping spring would pass slowly. We certainly needed a break from the harsh weather.
DeleteIt isn't May any longer? well...
ReplyDeleteI'm also happiest by the water... trying to get myself kicked in the bottom to get moving there. I don't know why I'm so freaking brain dead.
just had a Klondike bar ... maybe that'll kick start m'brain ... dunno
Good morning, and Happy Monday to you, Martha... I think the gator was my favorite today... HAHaaaaaa
So, did the Klondike bar kick start your brain? Sometimes a little sugar rush gets mine going. I usually have an apple with caramel dip. I think I eat apples as an excuse to eat some caramel dip. One is healthy; the other not so much. I rationalize that they cancel each other out. LOL...
DeleteYes, can you believe that May is over and done with? Spring didn't really happen this year. It's going to feel like a very short summer/spring season the way it's gone, and before you know it, it'll be winter again. I shudder at the thought!
lol ... it kinda sorta helped and I get the no sugar added kind ... just for my special needs days... sure are goooood
DeleteWater is such a solace, love the shot of you sitting there and the photo of your feathered friend is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday, Martha.
Loved the 'funnies'
It sure is a solace, Margie. Being near the water brings me so much joy. Thanks for your lovely comment!
Deleteyep, my birthday month is gone, but may took way too long to get out of here. maybe because it has 31 days. now june - my sister's birthday month - only 30 days. thanks for the smile. you are good at it. cheers!!
ReplyDeleteBefore you know it, June will be gone, too...all 30 days of it! Slow down, time, slow down... LOL...
Deletefunny! love the Moses one.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed, Christine!
Deletefunny ones
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked this week's round of humour, Adam!
DeleteHoarders, I must see that! lol
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo of you by the water's edge.....very peaceful.
As you well know, Jim, being near the water always brings on a sense of peace. I love it.
DeleteLove the water pictures (as always!) and what a great idea to watch Hoarders and feel better about not doing enough around the house - ha!
ReplyDeleteWatching hoarders will make anyone feel like a minimalist!
