Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, blogging pals. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Ours was a mix of this and that. On Saturday, we held a party for my daughter’s 17th birthday. A bunch of her friends came over for a BBQ, cake and a whole lotta fun. Great kids; all of them. And growing up so quickly. In September, they’ll be starting their last year of high school. And this is my younger daughter's age group. My older one turned 22 less than two weeks ago. 22! Where does the time go? Sigh...

Yesterday, the most amazing man in the world and I went bike riding; something we haven’t done in ages. We rode along the K&P Trail; an off-road recreational trail that is about 15 kilometers long (9 miles). And how far did we ride to and fro on this trail? A total of about 13 whopping kilometers (8 miles)! Not bad for a couple of middle-aged folks that don’t ride regularly. We will definitely do this again. It was a blast! I took some photos along the way, and I plan to write a post about this trail soon.

A wonderful trail to ride a bike on.

But for now, let’s take a little time to laugh out loud, you bunch of goofballs!

Wishing you all a great week ahead!

    1. It sure does, Christine. It's been a little warm, but not that bad. No complaints from me after the winter we just went through!

  2. That toilet paper one is so funny! Love the others too. I hate those super-decorative towels myself.

    1. I hate them, too. I have a friend that adds fancy towels to her bathroom, but she also adds secondary towels that everyone can use. Sure lessens the stress when you have to dry your hands!

    1. Only my butt was sore! LOL... I need to get a more comfortable seat. I use the treadmill regularly for months on end (take a break in summer and walk instead), so my legs are strong. I can go long distances on a bike without a problem, but man oh man, the butt...hahahaha... I'll check the stores for better seating!

  8. You doused out heartly chuckles as usual. I'm not convinced the extra loud snorer is single, but I'm certain he's sleeping alone.

    1. The time passes so quickly. I still remember my girls as babies. Once in awhile, I stop and think about all those days and I'm astonished at the passage of time. I do like the age they are; very independent. But I'd do it all over again if I could.

    1. It was quite busy, for sure. I hope this one is a little quieter. A half and half weekend would be great. Half the time relaxing, and the other half out and about. Maybe on a fun road trip. That would be cool.

  15. Oh yeah, those neatly arranged towels ~~ how confusing and hedious! LOL

So glad you brought up about bicycling ~~ we haven't done it in years either and we were avid cyclists for years....huh what's that all about anyway?! Life can be so confusing and amusing all at the same time.

Belated Happy Birthdays to all, so sorry I haven't been around much, still figuring out my existence with health issues and taking on less reading activities seems to have been the result. I will catch up I promise!

All the best for the July ahead, Okie Dokie!!
