Interesting Sightings

"I don't go out looking for pictures. I go out, and if something catches my eye, that's reason enough to photograph it."
- Henry Wessel -

So here we are once more with the second post from my new blog theme where I share some of the interesting, unusual, fascinating and even amusing things I see when I’m out and about. And although some of these photos may not be photographically ‘successful’, they capture life’s extraordinary ordinary moments.

Here we go...

Christmas year round in this store! My kind of place.

Meanwhile in Canada...

Wasps will build a home just about anywhere.

Looks like this squirrel got the Midas touch.

After the 'Get Smart' television series ended, Agent 99 opened a retail store in Kingston.
(Click here is you're not old enough to know about this comedy.)

Some people are not clear on what a rock garden really is.

Darn...a snake. How am I going to get by now?

Hmmm... People may get the wrong message here, don't you think?

Have a great day, everyone!

  4. Christmas stores, year-round are fun. I just pulled vanilla cupcakes out
of the oven and they smell like Yankee Candle's Christmas Cookie, candle.

    I love the smell.

Great photos and fun new series for your blog. And now ... I gotta go clean
the crappers, floors and hallway. Until next time ... cheers and boogie boogie.

  11. We had wasp making a nest in the holes in a lawn chair. We put tape over the holes. That'll learn 'em!

A rock garden in every sense of the word.

What kind of snake is that?

  13. Imagine if you were on the edge of a dock with a snake. With both a phobia of water (swimming) and snakes. Quite a pickle.
