Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, everyone. I hope you all had a nice weekend. Our staycation is officially over, and we go back to our responsibility-laden routines as of this morning. The past week wasn’t as adventurous as the first because the weather suddenly turned on us with chilly temperatures and heaps of rain. It stayed that way for a few days, and we forced indoors. Yesterday, the weather finally improved and we didn’t hesitate to get out and about with our bikes to explore and enjoy the outdoors. We even ran across some young friends along the way.

This little one was just a few yards away with mama and another sibling.

And you know what it’s like outside today? Absolutely gorgeous. *sigh* If only staycations would last all summer.

Well, let’s move on to the funny stuff, shall we?

Wishing every one of you a beautiful week ahead!

    1. It's crazy how cold it got at some point. It felt more like October than August. Well, at least it's over. The weather is nice again.

    1. They are gorgeous, Margie! This young one was quite comfortable around humans. It was great for me to be able to photograph it, but there is a hunting season for them around here, and I'm not sure that friendliness is a good thing.

  18. Sorry about the weather - we had it here too. At one point I thought it was never going to stop raining. It was good for reading but not much else. Glad you got some bike riding in when you could.
