Chuckles and Chortles

And here we are once more. Amazing how quickly the weekend comes and goes, isn’t it? How was yours? It was miserable here on Saturday; raining, and very cold. We wimped out with the weather and hibernated. Yesterday was cool but gorgeous, so we dressed warm and went biking. I sure hope that the autumn season is more like yesterday than Saturday. ‘Cause a miserable fall makes winter seem much longer. We shall see.

But for now, let’s laugh it up with some funny stuff...

Have a great day, everyone!

  1. Biking sounds like fun! Saturday we picked apples at the local orchard and Sunday we went to a concert, so our weekend wasn't bad at all! Enjoyed today's chuckles!

  3. Great LOLs as always, Martha! HRH used to walk across our jigsaw puzzles and pieces would stick to her paws. We'd find them later on the floor. And WTF, Ontario? Get some good fall weather STAT! I'm coming down to the Stratford Festival this weekend and don't want cold, windy, rainy weather!

    1. HRH was the best. Lots of catitude; my favourite felines. You'll be happy to know that the weather has improved. Sunny and gorgeous today. I hope it stays like that. Too bad you'll be so far away. It would have been wonderful to meet you!

  4. What a nice way to start the day, laughing at your C&Cs, Martha! Sorry to hear that your weekend weather was miserable. We hibernated for a while on Saturday, and it was comforting to curl up in front of the fire, drink coffee, and read. Then yesterday the heat came back and hit 84 ºF/28.9 ºC. I'm ready for pleasant cool autumn weather. Have a good week!

    1. I enjoy those days, too, as long as they're not too often. Winters are very long here, so we'll have plenty of those types of days ahead! No need to start too early.

    1. I know what he means. We had to turn it on a couple of times to get the chill out of the house. It's much too early for that!

  14. Sorry about the bum rain. To be honest, we love a good rainy day home. But this weekend it was just a cold autumn weekend that somehow, went the right speed. We hit the bookshoppe twice and home the rest of the time.

Happy New Week & Boogie Boogie :-)

    1. A weekend that includes a book store is a great weekend, if you ask me! Good stuff, Wonder Woman. The weather has gotten much better. It's warmer and we've got lots of sun. I hope it's a wonderful autumn, so we can get out, explore, have fun, and take a gazillion photos!

I like rainy days, too, to take a break. And winter is on its way, which means oodles of cold days that will keep us at home.

Happy week to ya! I hope it's going well so far.
