    1. They sure do. My cats live like queens in this house. I serve THEM!

    2. I think that as my girls sit on the back deck stairs and watch me clean up their yard poo.

  2. Hahahahaha, it's true! And I laughed at your "Boss" cartoon over on the sidebar too. I read somewhere that Bruce Springsteen has just turned 65 . . . . 65? OMG we're all getting old!

    1. How about that, eh? When I hear stuff like that it blows my mind. Life goes so flippin' fast.

    2. I know, right?? I can't believe how much time has passed. I'm on my way to fifty in less than 6 months!

    3. You look marvelous. You know, I've never used that word before. I'm not even sure if I spelled it correctly.

    4. I will remember how brave you are when it comes time for me to put my mug out there. The fear totally lifted for awhile, because I was so busy writing but now .... dun, dun, dun, the fear monster has returned, though not nearly as strong.

      Little fucker.

    5. Beat him over the head with a stick. Or a rolling pin. You probably have a good rolling pin that'll do the job :)

  4. My dog spends most of her time indoors. When we first got her, she'd always want to be inside. My mom coudln't get over the fact "dogs are suppose to live outdoors, blah blah nature". To be fair, so are humans.

    1. You bet, Adam. But come winter, I'm perfectly happy that we've invented warm and cozy housing! I'm sure your dog would agree :)

  5. May we all love our pets, our dogs, our cats, and never let anyone tell us we have to get rid of them to rent any place. I would rather live outside, so thank you, thank God for pets that are loved and whose biggest problems is waiting for mom to get his attention and get his ball back. I love animals all animals and I can't bear them being in a cage, or being mistreated. good one girl x

    1. I totally agree, Lorraine. And I think all animals deserve that kind of love and compassion. We are not kind to all, and I toss and turn sometimes at night thinking about stuff like that.

  6. Pets really do feel, don't they? Both our cats get moody. It is kind of funny.

    1. They certainly do feel. I truly believe that. One of my cats gets anxious when one of us comes home late. She goes to the window to look outside, and starts meowing her distress. It's kind of cute, although for her it isn't!

  7. I spoil my girls, but you already know that. I spoil the big dog too, but you already know that as well. And as it all should be. I say spoil, have fun and enjoy every second because whoossssh.

It's all gone just like that.

    1. You bet! I spoil my furry girls, too. They live like queens in our house. And I don't mind. Not one bit!

  9. I agree, Martha, we have taken things maybe too far with our take on what the important things are in life.
