Chuckles and Chortles

And we’re back... Happy Monday, everyone. How was your weekend? And how was the weather? Better than ours, I hope, which was rainy and quite cold. Cold enough to force us to turn on the heat at night (and a little during the day) to stay warm. This is the side of autumn that I don’t like; a season that can be quite a crapshoot in most places in Canada.

I want to love you, autumn, but you’re making it hard.

Anyhow, no biking this weekend, or much else. Instead, a lot of hibernation and cozying up with a good book. Sometimes we need a little of that, too.

And today we need humour, so let’s get right to it...

A wonderful day to all!

  1. I used to love playing "Sorry" when I was a kid! And I'm stealing the Unholy Union one and 50 Shades of No -- you find the funniest things! Have a wonderful week!

  2. Thank you for the laugh this morning. Love the one about the incorrect password. And could have used the card selection one in my sociology of the family class.

    1. I hope it gets better, too, Linda. Winter is long enough here as it is, so I'd like some decent weather in autumn.

  4. Happy Monday! Our weekend was rainy and cold too but I did some baking so that warmed the place up. :) Thanks for the Monday laughs.

    1. Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, Kingston...the weather is more or less the same for all these areas that are close to one another. Neither one can escape those rainy, cold days. Oh well...there are worse things in life. Spring will eventually return.

We do say sorry a lot! It's a cultural thing. It's not a bad habit to have, really, don't you think? At least we're considerate :)

    1. I certainly hope it does warm up, Bethany, so we can capture some lovely autumn images!

  8. We have to get used to those cold days. Later that's all we'll get. So that's why we need the humor.

  9. I am still wearing shorts of capri's here but that is mostly out of defiance.

I love the Sorry. I will have to sneak over to your Pinterest and pin it. You find the best stuff!

    1. I'm pretty sure we'll have some nice days up ahead. Indian summer should be arriving soon, no? I don't think we've experienced it yet. I certainly hope not!

  13. We had just a teeny bit of snow but it wasn't much. Just enough to stick on the pups and that was it. Gone. Whoosh. Great cold weekend here though, heat on, oven on, stayed in. Loved it.

    1. I love being indoors on those types of weekends. So cozy and toasty warm. I'm just hoping all that cold and snow doesn't come too early. I'd like to spend a little more time outdoors capturing fall images, even images in late fall when it looks like bleak. That period makes for some cool shots.

    2. I was driving home from the last market today and wow, the trees were so nice. I have to bring my camera next time for sure.

    3. Never leave home without it! Do you have a small point and shoot? I always keep one one me. The big camera stays home; I only use it when planned. But the compact one is a constant companion! You just never know what you'll see while you're out and about.

    4. Not anymore, it died. And the DSLR doesn't have a case. That's why it doesn't go out as much as I should take it.

    5. Oh, that's too bad! The point and shoot is pretty handy to have. I use it more than my DSLR because it's not bulky.
