Well, at least we got out. Then we all went for supper to a restaurant near our place. It was busy and the service was ve-e-e-ry slow. A couple of booths down there was a woman sipping a glass of wine as she waited for her food. She finished the wine. No food. Then most of her glass of water. Still no food. Her meal finally arrived when the lemon in her glass of water began disintegrating. And she ate without a drink. Without the glass of wine that she probably planned on enjoying with her meal. This made me sad for some reason. *sigh*

Anyhow, let’s get to the funny stuff...
Wishing you all a fabulous day!
LOL the Fabio of horses. What ever happened to him, by the way?
ReplyDeleteHe's still around, but not as visible as he used to be. I'm not sure what he's up to these days.
DeletePlease don't sue me, I copy one of the poster on my facebook... Personally I'm not that faithful... if I run out of white, I'll just go for the red! Hahaha
ReplyDeleteI copy from other places all the time, so I'm just as guilty!
DeleteLOVED the apostrophe one!! And so true!!
ReplyDeleteApostrophes are used way too much, and not in the right way!
DeleteThanks for the laughs this morning. The apostrophe one is terrific, and I also loved the Ikea one.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed! The IKEA one is hilarious :)
DeleteHa! Love the one about Ginger and the tarts! It made me giggle. Happy Monday to you!
ReplyDeleteIt's a great one! I always wonder who comes up with these things.
DeleteThat's hilarious, I haven't thought of Fabio in ages, and the apostrophe, that one drives ME crazy!!!lol thanks Martha for great laughter , oh it's too funny !
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed, Lorraine! Every Monday at my place :)
DeleteLove the apostrophe joke. Such a pet peeve of mine!
ReplyDeleteMost definitely a pet peeve of many!
DeleteAll hilarious! Especially the apostrophe. A couple of times this summer, hubby and I passed stands that sold fresh strawberry's! Gack!
ReplyDeleteAnd there is something sort of sad about a disintegrating lemon...
That apostrophe has to be the most overused (and wrongly used) of all! Drives me nuts.
DeleteAfter a long dull spell there's nothing like a bright sunny day to cheer you up.
ReplyDeleteYou bet! We had one day, and now we're back to rain :(
DeleteHaving just bought some furniture from IKEA, I got a big laugh out of the last one! Am stealing it too. "Start the car! Start the car!"
ReplyDeleteBAHAHAHA! That is the best commercial. My brother, who LOVED it, introduced it to me when it was running (since I don't watch too much TV), and I thought it was hilarious! I think IKEA has a lot of good commercials.
DeleteHysterical, Martha! Loved them all, especially the teleport one! I'm forever wishing Scotty would beam me up! The musical piece by Jarbas Agnelli was pretty and fascinating. And I like how he matched the music to the crows' positions both visually and with sound. Thank you for sharing that. Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be great if you could stand on one of those things and experience teleportation? I'd be doing it all the time! LOL... Yes, that musical piece is pretty amazing. That is a man with talent!
DeleteLoved all of them! Hilarious! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment!
DeleteI like the tart one
ReplyDeleteIt's a good one!
DeleteThe one that most resonates with me is the "high apostrophe intelligence." In fact, is that a cartoon or did someone snap a photo of me?
ReplyDeleteTake care, Martha.
Hahahaha! You always make me smile, Robyn :)
Deleteespecially love the Ikea one, lol. Happy Monday! And that poor lady.
ReplyDeleteThat is one of the best this week. IKEA has just about everything :)
DeleteAh! Apostrophes in the wrong places can be pretty annoying! Enjoyed the teleport one. And...that definitely doesn't sound like a pleasant experience for the lady at the restaurant: slow service at restaurants and long lines at cash registers are two things I really dislike!
ReplyDeleteI think a lot of people were unhappy at the restaurant. It was slow all around. Either they were short staffed, or they weren't prepared to be that busy.
DeleteHahahaha, I love Monday funnies. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favourite posts of the week. I really enjoying putting it together.
DeleteWe've had almost non-stop rain up this way. I found a brief stretch with no rain this afternoon and got out for a walk. It is supposed to be sunny tomorrow and I hope they are right!
ReplyDeleteIt's been the same way here, Jen. We had one sunny but cold day on Sunday, but before and after that it's been raining.
