Come on, Show Me A Smile

“A warm smile is the universal language of kindness.”
- William Arthur Ward -

Every year, the first Friday in the month of October marks ‘World Smile Day’; a celebration coined and initiated in 1999 by Harvey Ball, the creator of the famous yellow smiley face.

After he died, the "Harvey Ball World Smile Foundation" was created to honour his name and memory. Its message is "Do an act of kindness. Help one person smile.".

So I’m going to end my blogging week by trying to make you all smile on this special holiday because smiling is fun.

Young and old like to smile...

So do cats...

Dogs...

And other animals...

Smiles can be found everywhere...

And I bet if you ask her politely, even Grumpy Cat will smile...

Oh well, you can’t win them all. But I hope the rest of you smiled.

As for me, smiling comes easy since I married a goofball.

A beautiful, smile-filled weekend to all my blogging pals!

    1. We certainly can't get away from the cold coming up. I'm just hoping for some nice autumn days to be able to continue to enjoy the outdoors. I don't mind cooler days; I'll dress warm. I just don't want frigid and rainy. That's when you're stuck inside.
