What would you cure the world of if you could?
One of the biggest enemies of humanity:
Yes, discrimination is a worldwide disease that needs to be cured. And until such time, peace and goodwill that we pay lip service to every December will not prevail.
What would you cure the world of if you could?
Sin because it is the original cause of all evil in the world.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very interesting choice, Bethany!
DeleteI think I'd pick GREED to get rid of because it is the basis for much of human wrongdoing.
ReplyDeleteSo SOOO true, Debra! Greed is one of the ugliest traits.
DeleteI agree with the discrimination one, a lot of wars would of never happened without it.
ReplyDeleteYou got that right, Adam!
DeleteI would cure the world of mental illness. Imagine what kind of world this could be if humans were all mentally healthy!
ReplyDeleteWonderful choice! This is definitely on my list.
DeleteGreed, and discrimination
ReplyDeleteThe world would be so much better without these two.
DeleteIf a had a wand ... I'd throw some pixie dust on people who believe themselves to be all knowing ... to have each narcissist, bigot, zealot and all around rat bastards .. and have them experience the very thing they are narcissistic, bigoted and zealoted ~ not a word? .... about.
ReplyDelete.... empathy pixie dust ....
Empathy pixie dust! I love it. Only you'd come up with something like that, Carolyn :)
DeleteA bigots, zealots, narcissists, etc... So many rotten people in this world!
I totally agree. Discrimination needs to GO. And I hope that someday it will truly happen!
ReplyDeleteI hope so, too, Mary.
DeleteI completely agree with you. Discrimination comes in many ugly forms. It's one of those things that invades many parts of our lives.
ReplyDeleteAnd it causes so many problems in this world!
DeleteAgree on that..... Discrimination......it may take a long time but it will go.
ReplyDeleteI like to think so, too, although it's really hard to keep that faith going.
DeleteDiscrimination and Greed.
ReplyDeleteI'd like both of them to disappear!
DeleteMy first thought is disease...such as Ebola right now. Happy that Canada has come up with a trial vaccine.
ReplyDeleteWonderful choice, Christine. Imagine a world without diseases.
DeleteOh yes, thank you Canada for the trial Ebola vaccine. We're still waiting for a Surgeon General because of the obstructionists! Ok back to your cure..... I think it would be GREED. Greed is the backbone of so many other awful things.
ReplyDeleteYes, it really is the backbone of so many other awful things. It is a horrible trait.
DeleteMost of the human race. Truly. And I don't suspect that will be a big surprise to you, Martha!
ReplyDeleteOh, Wendy, I am not surprised! And I can't deny that feel that way many, many times!
DeleteI would like to get rid of guns and other weapons, especially today.
ReplyDeleteOh, how I wish, Louise! But the cynic in me believes that humans with find other ways to destroy each other :(
DeleteWell, maybe not 'most'. But you know what I mean ...
ReplyDeleteI most certainly do! :)
DeleteDisease of any kind.
ReplyDeleteThat would be a wonderful thing!
DeleteAnd sickness, she says as she blows her nose for the millionth time today.
DeleteI hope you're feeling better, Wonder Woman! I've been very busy and haven't had a chance to visit all my favourite blogs. I'll catch up later this evening.
DeleteFor me, it all comes down to five words. I want these words on my tombstone. "Be Kind to One Another"
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't get any easier than that!
