Happy Monday, everyone, and happy November! Can you believe we’re just a few weeks away from Christmas? Well how can you not when the stores are already filled with holiday decorations and merchandise? Let’s hope they don’t start with the Christmas music anytime soon.
October was a pretty crappy month here; chilly and damp. Autumn this year has not been very good to us. I’m hoping that November is a decent enough month so winter doesn’t seem too long.
Well, let’s get to the funny stuff, shall we?
A beautiful day to all!
good giggles this morning! love that cat snooze button ... and the poor peanut! the squirrels are going bonkers at the moment burying things all over the yard
ReplyDeleteI know! The squirrels are eager to get some food stashed for those cold winter days.
DeleteI actually heard a guy ask the cashier how else was he supposed to take his groceries out of the store, that of course he needed bags.
ReplyDeleteWell, now people are bringing their own bags in many stores, so the cashiers aren't sure. Still. It makes for a funny cartoon!
DeletePoor Wicked! Can't a girl have a little privacy? Great LOLs this morning, Martha!
ReplyDeleteI know, right? I'd be annoyed as hell.
Deletelol oh sweetie how i love Mondays with a smile, giggle and waking up my cats fair is fair, n'est-ce pas? lovely you x
ReplyDeleteStarting the day, and new week, with a smile is the best way to go. Who doesn't enjoy laughing?
DeleteGreat Monday pick me up. November here started with a nasty freezing rain/sleet/snow storm.
ReplyDeleteWow, that's not a very nice way to start. I hope we don't get snow any time soon. I'm just not in the mood for it yet!
DeleteThannnnnnks! The grocery clerk one is perfect!
ReplyDeleteCheers!!
You're welcome. I have to keep you all smiling :)
DeleteThanks once again for the great laughs. That Batman is a violent guy, but this time I must agree with him. Hope your November is good.
ReplyDeleteYup, he's pretty nasty. Poor Robin; the things he has to put up with :)
DeleteThat last funny made me laugh out loud!! Hee hee. Happy Monday to you.
ReplyDeleteWell, we can now sympathize with the witch :)
DeleteI hope you do get a short winter. Last year at this time we had winter big time! It's always great to start the week with your cartoons.
ReplyDeleteYes, last year winter arrived very early and stuck around forever! I hope it's not the same this year.
DeleteHilariously funny as always!
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed, Wendy!
Deleteso that's why she was so wicked
ReplyDeleteYup. Perfectly understandable, too.
DeleteIf I read these in the A.M. I wouldn't get most! Just read them now at 8:19 PM and get them all, Martha!! lol
ReplyDeleteLoved the very first one.....poor Robin, what he put up with!
Yes, poor Robin. I'm surprised he didn't quit that job at some point!
DeletePoor wicked witch! hee hee. I also really like the cat snooze button - pretty funny because whenever i have needed my spray bottle I've never been able to find it and kitty goes on happily tearing up the carpet. This way you know where it is!
ReplyDeleteSpray bottles and cats! The perfect combination. I have a couple of bottles around the house, but thankfully I haven't needed to use them very much.
DeleteThe witch really was going pee! Oh, my!
ReplyDeleteShe was. And couldn't get the privacy she needed. No wonder she was so nasty.
DeleteI think of it as the first one, and the last one. But the second one, I don't get the connection. The third one was funny. Love the cape.
ReplyDeletePS: I always decorate for Christmas the first week in November. This time I did it on Halloween weekend, a week early. Life is too short, not to have fun with it.
DeleteI don't mind home decorations at all; love them, in fact. But the stores are all about making money, so I don't like when they push Christmas that soon. It's not about the spirit of the season with them; it's about profit. I'll be sorting through my holiday stuff tomorrow morning since I'll have some free time, and I'll begin putting up things around the house a bit at a time over the next month.
