Chuckles and Chortles

Happy Monday, everyone, and happy November! Can you believe we’re just a few weeks away from Christmas? Well how can you not when the stores are already filled with holiday decorations and merchandise? Let’s hope they don’t start with the Christmas music anytime soon.

October was a pretty crappy month here; chilly and damp. Autumn this year has not been very good to us. I’m hoping that November is a decent enough month so winter doesn’t seem too long.

Well, let’s get to the funny stuff, shall we?

A beautiful day to all!

  2. I actually heard a guy ask the cashier how else was he supposed to take his groceries out of the store, that of course he needed bags.

    1. Well, now people are bringing their own bags in many stores, so the cashiers aren't sure. Still. It makes for a funny cartoon!

    1. Wow, that's not a very nice way to start. I hope we don't get snow any time soon. I'm just not in the mood for it yet!

  7. Thanks once again for the great laughs. That Batman is a violent guy, but this time I must agree with him. Hope your November is good.

  12. Poor wicked witch! hee hee. I also really like the cat snooze button - pretty funny because whenever i have needed my spray bottle I've never been able to find it and kitty goes on happily tearing up the carpet. This way you know where it is!

    1. Spray bottles and cats! The perfect combination. I have a couple of bottles around the house, but thankfully I haven't needed to use them very much.

  14. I think of it as the first one, and the last one. But the second one, I don't get the connection. The third one was funny. Love the cape.

    1. PS: I always decorate for Christmas the first week in November. This time I did it on Halloween weekend, a week early. Life is too short, not to have fun with it.

    2. I don't mind home decorations at all; love them, in fact. But the stores are all about making money, so I don't like when they push Christmas that soon. It's not about the spirit of the season with them; it's about profit. I'll be sorting through my holiday stuff tomorrow morning since I'll have some free time, and I'll begin putting up things around the house a bit at a time over the next month.
