It’s The Little Things: Humour

Thank goodness for humour. Can you imagine a world without it? I couldn’t. Not a day goes by that I don’t chuckle and snicker and snort. Or act silly. Or laugh at myself. Sometimes at others. In a nice way, of course.

On top of all that, I’m married to a man with a great sense of humour and part of a family full of comedians. My world is overloaded with goofballs!

And so I'm ending this week with a funny video that'll make you laugh. Because it’s good for you. So watch the video and laugh. Just do it.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

  3. Some of those are quite funny! I especially liked the ones where the cat chases the laser. I think if people love God and a keep a hearty sense of humor they will be ok.

    1. It takes very little to be happy, Bethany. Living a simple life and appreciating all the little things it has to offer brings happiness.

    1. One of my cats snores, too! It is the funniest thing. She is the first cat of many cats that's ever done that. I will always share these types of videos when I run across them. You know me...

  7. Laughter's the best medicine to a dreary day. I do try to keep a posotice mood and in fact I sometimes find funny vudeos in you tube just to laugh. I enjoy talking with happy people, they keep me young :)

  8. I wouldn't want to live without laughter, Martha. And this video was a belly laugh producer, my favorite kind of laugh! Loved that quote ~ I give myself plenty of material to laugh at myself! Some days, I'm a walking disaster ~ Hurricane Louise. Terry and I are headed to Vegas tomorrow morning for a little get away. So one of my friends just told me a joke on the phone:
"You know, Louise, they're sending all the ebola patients to Vegas"
    "Why?" I asked.
"because what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas?"
    "Duh!" said I.
    Talk about walking into it!
    Have a happy weekend, Martha!

  9. Yes, Chelsea Handler has the right attitude.
She's an excellent writer too. I can hear her voice when I read her writing, so I know (or assume) she doesn't hire a ghost writer.
    Keep laughing, Martha. xo

  12. Hi Martha,

You do realise that Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar just watched that video and just about knocked over my monitor :) I laugh at the ironies of life. Humour gets us through the best and worst of times.

A great weekend to you and your loved ones.

    Gary :)

    1. You bet, Gary! Humour is particularly wonderful during those bad times. It helps get us through them. Nice to see you, Gary, and I hope you are enjoying a beautiful weekend.
