Is it this question that woke you up in the middle of the night? :)
I don't cut my sandwich, Christiane on the other hand, most of the time she cut as A, but sometimes when the bread has been flatten a bit, she will cut it as in B... crazy women ha ha ha
That is so fun and I am tempted to piggy-back off you on this one but I won't. So fun though.
Honestly, I do both or none. It all depends on the kind of sandwich I am making. Sometimes a melty hot grilled sandwich, I'll do the first one, so you can taste those crispy (but not burnt), corner bits.
Other times, I'll go with B. Really just depends also on the shot I want to get for the camera. Where the A often shows off more melty innards than B.
But B is really good for a cold stacked sandwich because it keeps all the innards, well, in.
All great answers! Yes, it certainly depends on the sandwich, and definitely if you're taking photos. And what kind of photos. It's all good. At the end, it all becomes crumbs anyway :)
That depends on my mood, and the sandwich filling. My mother always cut ours into quarters, but once, when we stayed at my aunt's, she cut them diagonally. Wow! My sister and I were blown away.
My mom used to do A but she added a twist. She took the one half and cut that in half and served it that way so it was three pieces, It always looked so nice.
I don't cut ... well, sometimes ~ it's a drippy kind of sandwich .. My favorite sandwich is avocado with tomatoes, sweet onion and Havarti cheese ... dang... that sounds good along with good ol Hellman's mayonnaise and Cheetos ... big cold glass of milk ... what was your question?
If I want half a sandwich, I just take one slice of bread, spread peanut butter over one half and jelly over the other and fold it over. Usually no cutting for me!

Wat...? Don't you toss and turn wondering how people cut their sandwiches? :)
DeleteBTW, crazy women are more interesting. They sure do spice up life!
I do A, hubby does B.
ReplyDeleteEach with their own style!
DeleteHe-Who-Mows insists that his sandwich be cut as in A. I leave mine whole.
ReplyDeleteIf cutting a plate of sandwiches for an event, I would have two kinds of filling, so some of each shape.
"He-Who-Mows" Hahaha... I love that! Well, everybody has their own style :)

DeleteIn my belly, that's the goal.
DeleteI'm a rebel, man. I use both methods indiscriminately. You can't tie me down.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! You answer to no one :)
DeleteFour squares of course, it looks like you have more to eat....
ReplyDeleteYes, that is a great way to eat a sandwich!

ReplyDeleteHahaha! That is so funny :)
DeleteB of course. I don't like stuff falling out of the pointy ends!
ReplyDeleteMakes perfect sense!
DeleteMy mom used to do A but she added a twist. She took the one half and cut that in half and served it that way so it was three pieces, It always looked so nice.
ReplyDeleteThat is really interesting! I'm going to do it just to see the visual :)

ReplyDeleteoh, B ...
first world rebellion ... hahaaaa
MYGOSH, Carolyn, that sounds like a delicious sandwich! I'm gonna have to try that. What a tasty combination!
DeleteSomewhere between the two...
ReplyDeleteThat's a good choice!
DeleteI usually use 'B'.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite style :)
DeleteOption C?
ReplyDeleteAnd why not?
DeleteI prefer A. It makes a pb&j sandwich seem fancier than it is.
ReplyDeleteThat is so true, Robyn!

ReplyDeleteGreat choice! I sometimes do that, as well. Perfect for when you don't want a full sandwich.
DeleteI choose B. Dunno why, I just don't find reason why it has to be a triangle hehe
DeleteThat's a good enough reason!
